This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains the types of information we collect, how we use that information, and the circumstances in which we may share it. This Policy applies to all of our digital platforms, including our website and other online services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”), such as https://sifufix.com.

Unless stated otherwise, this Policy only applies to information collected through the Platform. It does not apply to data collected through other channels such as in-person interactions, postal mail or third-party sources that are not part of the Platform.

By using or accessing the Platform, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

(c) Information from Social Networks and Third Parties

SifuFix may collect information about you from social networking services, related companies, or independent third parties. For example, if you access the Platform through Facebook or a similar service, you may allow us to access your profile information. This might include your name, email, profile photo, location, friends list, or any other public data.

Please check the privacy settings and policies of the social platforms you use, as we have no control over how those platforms use or share your data.

We may also gather additional information about you from other third-party sources, including credit bureaus or identity verification services, where legally allowed. This can help us confirm your identity, protect against fraud, or assess trust and safety.

Sometimes, we may also collect information confirming that a Consumer and a Service Professional have communicated outside the Platform. This helps ensure proper fee charges and enforcement of our Terms of Use.

(a) Analytics

We may use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand how Users interact with the Platform. These tools may collect information such as how you found the Platform, what pages you visited, and how you used the features. This data may be gathered using technologies described earlier, and may be collected directly by the analytics provider or shared with them for analysis purposes. We also use these services to help us improve how we deliver advertising, as explained in the next section.

(b) Tailored Advertising

Some third parties, including marketing platforms whose services appear on our Platform, may use cookies and tracking tools on your device. These tools help them to show you marketing content that is more relevant to your interests, based on your previous visits to our Platform or other sites.

Other third parties such as advertising networks (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook, DoubleClick) may also show you tailored ads and use their own tracking technologies. We do not have control over how these external parties use their cookies or data collection tools, and this Privacy Policy does not cover their practices.

These third parties may give you options to opt out of personalised advertising. In some cases, cookies used for marketing may be linked to data you have shared with us, such as your email address, which is converted into a secure, unreadable format before sharing.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information using physical, technical and procedural safeguards. This includes the use of passwords, encryption, and access restrictions to help keep your data safe.

However, no method of online security is completely foolproof. We cannot promise that your information will be fully protected against all unauthorised access or use.

To help keep your data secure, you should:

  • Use strong passwords
  • Keep your login credentials private
  • Avoid using the same passwords across different platforms
  • Log out after using a shared device

We are not responsible for any unauthorised access caused by stolen or weak passwords or other activity on your account that occurs without your permission.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or platforms that are not controlled by SifuFix. These links are provided for your convenience and do not mean that SifuFix endorses the content of those sites.

We are not responsible for any content, practices or privacy issues related to external sites. If you visit other websites through our links, you do so at your own risk.
